When a new kit club comes to town, I know we are all a bit hesitant to give it a try, right? Yes, I agree... but let me assure you, you will NOT be disappointed. And just as a lil oomph to encourage all of you to subscribe, all subscribers who purchase our premier kit, Chardonnay before the end of July will automatically be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an entire 6-month subscription of kits from Label Tulip!! that's right.. 6 whole months!! As the launch date gets closer, we're really running out of sneak peeks, so we thought it'd be fun to do a small giveaway. Sneak Peek #3 & DT call

11 is the number of manufactures included in our premiere kit, Chardonnay, and that's not even counting the vintage & fabric store items we've carefully selected as well... Each company brings a different flavor into the kit that we love, and we're sure you'll dig it too! Trust us... ;)

Along with our premier kit, Chardonnay, there will also be a small cardstock add-on. When we first decided on Label Tulip, we decided not to include cardstocks directly in our kits because we felt that everyone had different preferences when it came to cardstocks. Some people never even used the cardstocks that came with the kit, which meant waste, and some people were fine with 1 cardstock per kit, while other wished for 2 of each color. So, we thought we'd be better off leaving it out altogether, so you, as our valued customer can make the choice for yourself.

On another note, design team call has been posted here, we can't wait to see your submissions~!

Sneak Peek #2

As of right now, we don't have a design team so a design team call should be going out very, very soon. Till then, we've decided to invited designers to Label Tulip so they can show off their skills.. For the month of July, we asked Caroline Ikeji & Michelle Guray to show off what they do best, scrap and lucky for us, they accepted our offer! We've already received both their projects, and let me tell you, it's a beauty, you don't want to miss this... Michelle has already posted a sneak peek which can be found here.

Ever since the sneak peaks for CHA-W07 , we've been in love with this A2Z paper, so it was a no-brainer to include that in our premiere kit for Label Tulip. The funky/edgy paper seems go perfectly well with the soft & feminine Prima papers, wouldn't you agree?

initially, we just wanted to post a "Hello, Let us introduce ourselves..." thing to start off the sneak peeks but since we missed yesterday, we will do both an intro and a sneak peek. How does that sound??

Why: BECAUSE WE LOVE IT!!

When Cindee and I decided to start a monthly kit club, the first thing we had to do was come up with a name. A name that we liked and that was suitable for the style we wanted our kits to produce. After a LOT of thought, and getting nowhere, we decided we needed to take a simpler approach. So we took our heads out of the box and chose any two arbitrary words we liked and bunched them together. And poof!!… Label Tulip was born.
What Label Tulip means to us is like an unexpected surprise… something we hadn't planned on but when it came together, it worked. It worked for us because our desire was to mix and match, to play with styles and themes that were new to us. It portrayed our own idea of BEAUTY. When creating with our kits, we wish for you to do that as well. Create your very own version of what it means to be beautiful/cool/awesome... etc. But most of all, HAVE A BLAST~!!!

Taking a break..

Label Tulip has been in the works for about six months now and in less than 2 weeks, we'll be live, can't believe it.. Like everything in life, it's been hard work, more than we ever imagined. So this weekend, we decided to relieve some stress and get away.. to Pismo!

Our hotel was awesome,

the view was amazing,

the food was great,

and we had the best time.

If there was one thing I could've changed..

I wish time would've stood still...

This was much needed...

but back to work, eek~!
